Consulting Services:

  • EFACW provides ongoing consulting services on every aspect of Export Finance for Washington State exporters including helping to qualify foreign buyers and negotiate the contract with your Buyer, payment terms, structuring the transaction and dealing with foreign exchange issues.

Seminars and Training:

  • EFACW regularly conducts Export Finance seminars singly and in partnership with Federal, State, Financial Institutions, and local international trade development organizations.
  • EFACW is an education resource for financial institutions specifically with regard to the Exim Bank Working Capital Guarantee Program, the Medium-term Guarantee program, and export credit insurance.

Referral Source:

  • EFACW works closely and collaboratively with local banks in helping to educate them with regards to Exim Bank programs, educate and train their customers, and act as a liaison to Exim Bank our partner banks require.
  • EFACW is a City/State partner with The U.S. Export-Import Bank, and a local partner with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, which assists in providing seed capital to U.S. companies (generally exporters) wishing to acquire or establish companies in emerging markets.
  • EFACW is a close partner with Federal and State partners that provide non-finance related export assistance including the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center and the Washington State Community, Trade, and Economic Development Department both of which maintain overseas offices dedicated to assisting U.S. exporters in key foreign markets.
  • EFACW works closely with Insurance Brokers which underwrite both Exim and Private Credit Insurer policies.
